30K20
The 30K20 was specially developed for sites with low average wind speeds. With its larger rotor diameter of 20 m, the swept area is increased by 50 % to 300 m². As a result, the turbine delivers a 30 % larger energy yield at less windy sites compared to our 30K16.

Additional product options
Lightning protection system
Protect of the system and components against lightning damage.
Service package
We provide assistance for your unit at a fixed rate. This maintenance of your unit is vital for optimal revenue generation.
Ultrasonic wind measuring system
More precise determination of the reference variable wind (direction and wind speed); the unit optimally follows the wind and ensures maximum yields. In addition, ultrasonic measuring systems are nearly wear-free.
Transformer
At locations with soft grid conditions, a galvanic isolating transformer can be installed for system protection.
Ability for isolated network applications 1-3
For isolated networks, the unit has three configurations; supply, network-forming and network-regulating.
Ice sensor
Detects ice formation on leading edge of rotor blades and protects the surroundings of the unit from ice debris.
Construction regulations package
Minimizes noise during the night and stops the unit in certain wind directions, if required by building regulations or due to the conditions on site. Note, however, that these measures are yield-reducing!
External power outlet
Enables splicing electricity directly from the unit (bottom box).
